Ryanair’s flight circled around Wigan for nearly an hour before moving back to Manchester

Ryanair hovered in the air for nearly an hour on his way to Morocco before returning to Manchester after discovering technical issues that prevented it from leaving the UK.

RK1266 took off from Manchester Airport on Sunday, March 16, but it was away from the city as it began its detours several times.

Flightradar data shows that the Boeing 737 flew to Wigan and then rotated around the air to St Helens in town and Merseyside areas, about seven or eight times before flying back to the airport and landing around 5 p.m.

The plane will fly three and a half trips to Morocco City, leaving the UK within an hour that has never aired in the air.

After arriving at Manchester Airport, firefighters on the runway encountered the plane.

After returning to Manchester, the passengers were replaced, which landed in Agadir at 10:30 pm that night.

A spokesperson for Ryanair told independent: “Due to secondary technical issues, this flight from Manchester to Agadir (Sun, June) returned to Manchester shortly after takeoff.

“The plane landed normally at Manchester Airport and the passengers disembarked.

“To minimize interference to affected passengers, we quickly arranged a replacement aircraft to operate the flight, which left Agadir at 7.05pm locally [time] The same day.

“We sincerely apologize to the affected passengers for any inconvenience.”

The incident happened a week after Ryanair flew from Malaga to Manchester and had to move to Bilbao due to a medical emergency – passengers ended up spending the entire evening in the Spanish city as air traffic controllers returned home until the plane took off again.

After boarding the plane, the plane refueled and prepared to continue to travel to Manchester, but the plane was unable to depart from the airport because the flight plan “over time of operation”.

Passengers must board the flight the next day to complete the journey.

Another Ryanair flight had to be in an emergency parking lot in Brest, France, and a passenger traveled from the Canadian River to Bournemouth after a suspected heart attack.

On March 10, the incident was able to continue to move forward after an hour, and the woman was transported to the hospital for further treatment.
