South Korean President Yoon is detained

South Korea’s impeachment president Yoon Suk Yeol faces allegations of attempting to engage in a coup and abuse of power, according to South Korea’s news agency Yonhap.

Yoon left the Seoul detention center after the court ordered the release the day before.

The South Korean leader was detained in mid-January and is expected to be tried for a lawsuit against allegations of uprising imposed by marriage laws in December. If convicted, he could face a lengthy prison sentence.

The National Assembly improvised on December 14.

If improvisation is maintained, new elections will be held within 60 days.

In early December last year, Yuan announced that the announcement of martial arts was seen as an attempt to strike his political opponents. It was short-lived, but fell into political unrest in South Korea.

The crisis has seriously damaged South Korea’s international reputation and has stagnated its economic growth.

At the time, Yin claimed that the opposition was infiltrated by the Communist Party, although there was no evidence to support the allegation.
