School locked after accidental shooting in board business: Report

Ohio Board Member (WKBN) – Police responded to an unexpected shooting on the board’s business Wednesday afternoon.

Police were called by police while driving in the stadium at around 3:30 pm, and police said a man was bleeding from a gunshot wound on his right cheek.

There were reports that the man jumped up and shouted at the police that he fired himself. A colleague of the man told police that the man grabbed a pistol and reached it over his head, police report said. Police report said the man told colleagues: “Say I won’t.” The report said the pistol fell and the man was hit on the floor while trying to stop the bleeding.

Police said they were told the man had shown recklessly with a gun in the past, but he never showed signs of depression.

The report said the man told the hospital nurse that he did not commit suicide and that he fired the gun by chance.

The man was in critical condition for the last time and underwent emergency surgery in the hospital.

The incident resulted in the temporary lockdown of the Board Center Intermediate School.
