Shai Gilgeous-Alexander showed exactly why he just won the MVP, dropping 38 points the day after he won the league’s highest honor.

Shai is everywhere, after he finished 13-15 from the field 12-21, plus eight assists and three steals, of course, celebrating your trophy before tipping in front of a noisy family crowd isn’t a bad thing.

Jalen Williams added 22 points to OKC with a strong performance of 26 points, 10 hits.

Shai ended the first half with a two-thirds dagger and then knocked down two free throws before the buzzer, giving OKC a 58-50 lead. He had 19 before the end of the half.
Minnesota coach Chris Finch is not excited about his team’s end of the second quarter, and his team will need to do more games in Game 3 to stop a game.
“Our ending is not very good,” he said. “I think if we were going to end half better, then we wouldn’t be on the edge of the third razor as a razor.”
