Minnesota Wild acquire forward Oscar Olausen Acquired from San Jose Sharks for linebacker Kyle Masters.
Olausson, 22, has played 163 games with the Colorado Eagles over the past three seasons, scoring 33 goals and 33 assists for 66 points. He was originally the Avalanche’s first-round selection (28th overall) in the 2021 NHL Draft.
Olawson appeared in 17 Calder Cup playoff games, contributing one goal and seven assists, and appeared in four NHL games with Colorado. San Jose acquired him in a trade with the Avalanche on July 25, 2025.
Masters, 22, totaled one goal and five assists in 35 games with the AHL’s Iowa Wild in his first two seasons as a pro. He has played 59 games for Iowa State in the ECHL.
Masters was selected by Minnesota in the fourth round of the 2021 NHL Draft.
