Shooting in South Los Angeles killed two people and injured one
A shooting in South Los Angeles killed two people Saturday night and a woman injured in a hospital.
Police responded to reports of shootings on Florence Avenue and Dalton Avenue around 6:25 p.m. Saturday.
According to LAPD, shortly after the shooting, officers detained one suspect and searched two other suspects.
The department has established a perimeter with police dogs and SWAT personnel. One of the suspects blocked himself on the periphery. Officials detained him at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday. A department spokesman said Sunday morning that the third suspect was still large.
Shortly after the shooting, the first responder arrived at the scene and announced the death of two victims and the two men in their twenties.
The third victim, a woman in her twenties, also suffered gunshot wounds. A department spokesman said she was taken to a local hospital and her condition remained stable as of Sunday morning.
