“Slothy” virus-filled animals removed from Washington roadside a year later

Transport officials said they received complaints that caused the driver to slow down and look at it, a huge plush laziness plant spreading on social media.

WSDOT North said the “Slothy” is 70 feet from a tree next to Interstate 5, Bellingham. According to Mybellinghamnow.com, an unknown person put it there.

During that time, locals judged laziness by their local reddit pages.

“The weather took a while off, a 125-foot bucket truck and some real skills,” WSDOT NORTH said, removing Slothy from his perch.

Regarding the question of why Slothy became famous, they said: “Having an 8-foot-long laziness hanging from a tree becomes so popular: it’s a lot of attention. It’s not a good thing when you’re driving on the highway. We’ve heard that drivers are slowing down to look at the picture closer to distract them.

“Slothy does remind us that it’s important to slow down in workspaces and life,” WSDOT North wrote on Facebook. “But otherwise, let’s leave our 8-foot stuffed animals in their natural habitat: in beds made for giants.”
