AKRONE, Ohio – Tim Petrovic scored a second-round lead in the Caulig Company Championship against Steven Alker and Ricardo Gonzalez on Friday in a 66-under 66-shot, a third-year Grand Slam on the PGA Tour.

The oil company birdied on the ninth pole to match Alk and Gonzalez at 135 below 135. Alker, from New Zealand, owns 66-year-old Argentine player Gonzalez, who shared a first-round lead with Soren Kjeldsen, shooting 68 from the field.

Miguel Angel Jiménez suffered a stroke after he was 66 years old. Freddie Jacobson is under 3 after 67.

Ángel Cabrera has won two majors in the region’s tradition this year, while the senior PGA championship in Congress is under 68.

Next year, the winner of the tournament won a place in the player championship on TPC Sawgrass.

Vanstone South previously hosted the World Golf Competition and then the World Golf Championship. It’s a great test for players who go to the Colorado U.S. Senior Open next.
