Stephen Colbert celebrates Trump’s latest “enemy” video

“Since Trump re-takes office, he has been in a revenge campaign against his enemies, and he thinks he has been trying to knock him down,” Colbert said. “Now, his anger is focused on an enemy that refuses to take him away, and that is the UN escalator.”

The escalator suddenly stopped when Trump and First Lady Melania Trump arrived Tuesday.

“No one was injured,” Colbert pointed out. “They walk up the escalator that stops, sometimes called stairs, but Trump won’t let it go.”

Trump demanded an investigation and even arrested the incident, although the United Nations said the escalator was accidentally stopped by Trump’s own entourage.

Colbert liked Trump’s video and stopped the escalator so much that he not only showed it again, but promised to continue.
