Stephen Curry’s injury update after Game 1

Steph Curry was injured against the Timberwolves in the first game of the series, and his coach Steve Kerr provided an update on his condition.

Kerr said the team’s star scorer is considered daily and will be held on Wednesday after his team won the first game 99-88 at Minnesota.

But hamstring injuries are difficult to measure.

Kerr said: “We are definitely planning for his game to make him unavailable on Thursday.

Curry grabbed his leg after driving a 13-foot buoy with 8:20 left in the second quarter.

He seemed to want a submarine, but kept playing for about 30 seconds before the game stopped.

When he could, he walked out of the court and headed straight to the locker room.

The team ruled out its franchise stars later in the second quarter.

After Stephen returned from the locker room, he walked with the obvious li.

The offense fell into Jimmy Butler for the rest of the game, who finished the night with 20 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 steals, while Buddy Hield stepped up and recorded a game-leading 24 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal.

Jimmy was asked what he learned from the first game in the on-field interview. His answer:

“That Stephen was our best player and when we got him, the game was much easier.”

Butler longs for Curry to return to court as soon as possible.

“We want Stephen, I’ll tell you,” Jimmy said. “It’s hard to play without that man.”

Later, he added to the official post-match press: “We all want 30 back. That’s for sure. But we hope he can do what suits us best for himself, which is the team we’ve been the best for us in a long time. But until then we can stand the fort.”
