Cases and casualties after Israeli drone attacks Gaza
Palestinian sources said Monday that despite the ceasefire, Israeli drone attacks in central Gaza caused casualties.
Staff at a nearby hospital reported one death and several injuries, while the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported two deaths from local residents.
Israeli troops said the air strikes targeted three Palestinians who tried to plant explosives on the ground.
Neither of the claims of both parties can be verified independently.
During the ceasefire between Israel and Gaza-based Islamic group Hamas, several deadly incidents have occurred in Gaza, which have been around since January 19.
According to the Hamas-controlled Health Agency, more than 48,400 people have died in the Gaza Strip since the start of the conflict, triggered by an unprecedented terrorist attack by Hamas and other militants in southern Israel on October 7, 2023.
