Surprise heat wave breaks on Saturday night, cooler temperatures are coming soon next week

Southern California surprises could break the heat wave Saturday night, according to the National Weather Service, with cooler temperatures expected during Mother’s Day and fog, according to the National Weather Service.
After a grey day, temperatures rose rapidly on Friday, with Woodland Hills recording 102 degrees and Burbank reaching 98 degrees. Saturday will be another charred person, with more records likely to be recorded in the San Fernando Valley and coastal temperatures reaching the 80s.
However, the mini heat wave may end as quickly as it starts, and Mother’s Day expects to drop by 5 degrees. NWS meteorologist Mike Wofford said Sunday’s temperature is expected to be in the 1980s in Labasin, the 1990s in the valley and the 1980s in the mid-1970s in the beach.
“This is usually a pretty low seasonal weather type. In May, we usually don’t have any real extremes. Yesterday was an exception in terms of calories.”
Temperatures on Monday are expected to be below averages in the 1960s and mid-1970s as fog rolls up and breezes resume. By Tuesday, gray days are expected to return, with drizzles and light rain likely to return, Worford said.
