“After a day and a half of intensive efforts, we found that it seemed to be part of the missing person,” said Deputy Director Doron Almashali.

“Naturally, these findings have to be thoroughly examined by the Israeli police and the Abu Kabir Institute of Forensic Research,” Almashali continued. “We will continue to work hard to confirm that we have indeed found the missing individual.”

“We conducted a search pattern based on a careful analysis of underwater currents, which is in the area where the remains were found. I sincerely hope we did find divers attacked by sharks.”
