Palestinian news agency WAFA reported on Friday that an Israeli air strike killed 10 members of the same family on a house in Khan Yunis in the Southern Gaza Strip.
Several other people were injured, the report added. There were no further details about casualties at first. The Israeli military said it was reviewing the report when asked to comment.
The WAFA also reported that the two were killed and the others were injured in a separate strike among a group of individuals in Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip. The report said more air strikes occurred in other parts of the coastal region, although it did not provide casualties.
Meanwhile, Israeli troops urged residents of several eastern communities in Gaza, the northern strip, to evacuate. The military said it targets what the region calls “terrorist infrastructure.”
