House of Tamworth Set: Deer Killer, Musk Perfume, Crab Catcher

At Tamworth Distillery in New Hampshire, veteran distiller Steven Grasse took the plunge and revealed his most successful breakthrough product to a curious public. Three of his most compelling flavored whiskeys have been split into a gift-worthy set for the holidays. First up is the Deer Slayer, with venison, cranberries, porcini mushrooms, juniper berries and green peppercorns – a festive feast of flavours, savory and spicy. Among them is Musk Eau de Parfum, made with castoreum, birch oil, raspberry and Canadian snakeroot, which has a vanilla flavor balanced with sweet and sour fruits and spices. Finally, the Crab Trapper, made with invasive green crab stock and chili powder, bay leaves, mustard seeds, coriander seeds, dill seeds, cinnamon, cloves and allspice for a salty-sweet and spiced flavor.
