The Bold and the Beautiful: Shocking twist – Electra is insane while Dylan remains sane?

bold and beautiful This week, spoilers are shocked by Electra Forrester’s (Rania Grace) behavior. She causes us so much damage that it makes me wonder if she is a madman and Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) is the truly sane one.

We’ll discuss Electra’s erratic behavior, which depends on who is in the room with her. Is Melissa Dylan completely innocent? Does Electra have some issues that need to be resolved?

Electra Forrester’s positive transformation into Melissa Dylan

From the first moment Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) invites Melissa Dylan to stay at the guest house above his garage, I noticed the inconsistency with Electra. I thought, “Okay, this seems a little bit annoying, but this is a one-off.” And then this week, it happened again, more aggressively. I’m really starting to wonder what happened to Electra.

Earlier this month, Will thanked Dylan and Electra after she offered him a place to stay during the January 1 and 2 episodes. She was very grateful. She had been living in her car; the poor girl was homeless. Dylan kindly tells Electra, “Thank you so much,” and says she’s glad Electra has found a good guy like Will.

When Dylan shared her story with Will and Electra, they told Dylan she found the right people because they truly cared. These ultra-rich people in Malibu really care. But then other things started to happen.

Did Melissa Dylan cross a line at Will Spencer’s hotel?

When Will first offers Dylan a spare room, she initially turns him down. If you remember, she said she wouldn’t feel comfortable living there unless Electra was there too. By the way, Electra is now an adult, and Ivy Forrester (Ashley Brewer) tells her she shouldn’t stay at Will’s house too long – as if Ivy still has room to talk.

Anyway, when Dylan said she wouldn’t feel comfortable unless Electra was there, it seemed very considerate and respectful to me. She stayed in her lane. Even if Dylan thought Will was hot, she wouldn’t jump at the chance to be near him without his girlfriend present.

Dylan was delighted when they showed her the room above the garage. She does hug Will gratefully, but Electra is there, and completely innocent. Then, she suddenly changes her tune when Will leaves to go surfing, leaving Dylan and Electra alone.

Electra’s duplicitous attitude toward new guests

As Will listens, Electra says, “We need to help Dylan. She’s my friend.” But with Will gone, her attitude changes completely. Dylan immediately tells Electra that it was great that Will let her stay there. Electra doesn’t agree and immediately becomes aggressive. She told Dylan that she couldn’t stay there too long because even friendly owners didn’t want too many guests.

To be clear, Electra doesn’t live there, and it’s not her house. Will offered Dylan a place to stay but never mentioned a time frame. He just wanted her to have a chance to get on her feet financially, get a job, find a place to live. Electra acted like they were being extremely generous and really wanted to help Dylan, but the second Will was gone, Electra turned to her.

Electra also said that day, “Will wants respect.” I don’t remember him saying that to Dylan as a condition for her to move in. That was just the next thing Electra was going to say, which was to respect Will and respect him as her boyfriend. That’s the point she was trying to make with her respectful comment. I’m pretty sure Dylan was respectful every step of the way.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Is Melissa Dylan checking out Will Spencer?

To be fair, there’s more to it. We see her looking at Will—looking at him while he’s outside in the shower—and in the most recent episode, looking at him while he’s sleeping on the couch. You can look at it as a creeper, or you can look at it as, “Oh, she’s glad he got a good night’s sleep. He’s such a good guy.”

I’m not saying Dylan is 100% innocent, but come on. How can you not take a look at a handsome guy in the outdoor shower? I live near the beach; you see. What I’m trying to say is that her watching Will take a nap was borderline to me. Electra, however, knew nothing of these things.

She had no idea Dylan was watching him in the shower, or watching him sleep. As far as Dylan’s behavior when Electra shows up, it’s all completely innocent. Nothing Electra said to Dylan had anything to do with her checking on Will because she never did that in front of Electra.

Tensions rise during Bold and the Beautiful’s innocent dinner

Fast forward to this week. Dylan is doing exactly what she said she would do; she’s been looking for work so she can find a new place to live and get back on her feet financially. She does Will and Electra’s laundry to help out. Will says she doesn’t have to, but Dylan insists she wants to be useful.

Will insists that Dylan sit down and eat the chicken he cooked because Electra was busy at work. At first, Dylan refused, but Will insisted that Dylan sit down and eat with him. So, she did it. Again, this is all very innocent. I didn’t sense a hint of frivolity; it was a friendly vibe.

Meanwhile, Electra, who is at work, tells Ivy Forrester that she feels bad about Will eating dinner alone. Dylan behaved well at dinner. She didn’t cross a line; she just added some hot sauce and ate it. She has no job, no money, and I don’t even know where she gets food from. When you stay at someone’s house and they have dinner, they usually at least offer you leftovers.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Electra’s Paranoia and the Shadow of Luna Nozawa

While talking to Ivy, Electra said what a great person Dylan was and what a great friend he was to her. It all looks so sweet – almost too sweet, to be honest. Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Ivy Forrester both mentioned Dylan staying at Will’s house. Ivy says it’s inappropriate, and Steffy says that once Dylan gets up and moves out, Electra can have her boyfriend all to herself.

Maybe that’s what triggered her and got her excited because she went completely crazy over Dylan for no reason. Will mentions to Electra that Dylan ate some of the chicken he cooked, and Electra tells Will that he’s replacing her. He promised to cook for Electra when she returned from her business trip bold and beautiful.

She then tells Will that she doesn’t want Dylan to cross a line and get too comfortable, before telling Will that she’ll “deal with her.” What to deal with? Will invites Dylan to sit down and share food, and Dylan refuses at first until he insists on staying at his own home.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Forrester Creations Confrontation

Electra texted Dylan and told her, “Come to Forrest,” and then said she knew about last night and that something seemed to have happened between Dylan and Will. Dylan reveals the truth about Will’s insistence that she eat with him. Electra insists that Dylan did something wrong and should tell Will no because it’s inappropriate.

Dylan did say no, even though she didn’t use the word “inappropriate.” Electra then said, “It better not happen again.” Dylan panicked and said she would move out as soon as possible.

What I saw was that Electra was sweet and when she talked to other people she was like Dylan’s best friend in the world. But when Electra is alone with Dylan, she appears to be low-key bullying a homeless girl. Why did she do this?

I think it all goes back to Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada). I think Electra was so paranoid about Will’s now-dead pregnant psycho-stalker that she saw the worst in Dylan every time she saw him. It’s almost like Electra is punishing Dylan for being so uninterested in Luna.

Is Electra Forrester insane or is Melissa Dylan a threat to the Bold and the Beautiful?

I can forgive some of Electra’s actions because Luna is torturing Will, but I don’t know how appropriate it is for Electra to turn on an innocent homeless girl. I will say Dylan’s sweetness makes me suspicious of her. Maybe she really has bad intentions. Maybe she’s stalking Will.

Or maybe Dylan was just a poor girl down on her luck who was intimidated by rich girls like Electra, who had never been broke in her life and was unreasonable and unhinged. So the question is, who is the craziest?
