The entire crew escaped the submarine during the sinking and killed multiple children

In Egypt’s Red Sea, a crew member of a sightseeing submarine tour managed to escape when the ship began to sink – although some of the tourists on board were not that lucky.

As BBC Authorities questioned the crew of the Sindbad submarine after it was set up on a coral reef trip near the beach town of Hurghada in southeast Egypt, the authorities reported.

Of the 45 passengers on board, six tourists (including two children) died during the sinking period, and nine were injured. The report noted that when authorities came to rescue the sunken submarine, 39 people and five crew members were rescued. The two tourists who died were several married doctors whose daughter was devastatingly in critical condition in the hospital.

According to Red Sea Governor Amr Hanafy, Sindbad’s crew are Egyptians, and its passengers are welcomed by India, Norway, Sweden and Russia. Somehow, only the Russians died during the incident and it is not clear what happened.

Unlike the Ocean Gate collapse about two years ago, Simbad Submarine Company appears to have a high reputation and has been operating in the Red Sea resort for many years. According to Hanafy, the submarine has been licensed and its chairman members have obtained all the correct certificates to operate it – which makes the tragic event a stranger.

Sadly, this is not the first maritime tragedy that has hit the Red Sea in recent months.

In late November, BBC It points out that when the Ocean Story tourist yacht sailed near the resort town of Marsa Alam, the boat had more than 40 people leaning on it, about 200 miles off the coast of Hurghada. As Diving magazine It was noted that it took 36 hours to rescue the yacht’s surviving passengers and pulled four bodies from the wreckage yacht. Seven remain missing and believed to be dead.

Between the orca attacks and headlines about the sinking of ships and submarines, it’s a weird thing that anyone who doesn’t have to ride the sea is weird – but, lately, flying recently isn’t better.
