What led to your star Griffin Matthews’ surprise move from us to Spain?

Matthews broke his promise for a new life in Spain, telling us“I go to Spanish school five days a week and learn Spanish four hours a day. I’m expanding my artistic sense. I actually attended a film festival where the movies I see will never be made in the United States. But they are made here, and it’s incredible work.”
He continued: “I’m so happy to be able to expand my ability to tell stories and language. This is where we are now in the world. We need to stop and learn from others. For me, the best way to do this, my kids are to answer and grow and start a new life.”
Since becoming an actor, Matthews has worked in inclusive storytelling. His most recent role is Teddy Lockwood from the Netflix hit series youwhich allows Matthews to prioritize authenticity by performance.
“We had a lot of calls with performers. The show host gave me a lot of freedom to make sure Teddy felt real. I had the space to say, ‘I think in this particular case, black people in 2024 would say that,” he recalls. ” us. “We had to deal with race, culture and privilege. I wanted people like me to watch the show and know themselves on screen. So I’m lucky that our performers are so open to conversations.”
Matthews noted that Teddy’s appearance was a great example of his involvement, adding: “We had the whole conversation about the hair. Any woman I had on the show spent more time: four hours: four hours.
