Dramatic video shows a trailer screaming around the corner and pickup truck preschooled from its deck. When the suspended pickup slams into another parked truck, the trailer driver appears to lose control and pushes it onto the street and smashes it into a utility pole. This effect can hit the trailer’s truck on the ground as the flatbed driver accelerates.

The commotion awakened residents of the 13,000 block of Compston Street.

“I know it’s a crash, but I don’t know what the hell is going on,” said one resident.

Residents told The Times that before the crash, someone watched the trailer stop and rang the doorbell of a house where a dark pickup truck was parked. When no one answered, the trailer operator started loading the truck onto a flat bed. According to residents who spoke to The Times, they were interrupted when someone in the family woke up and faced him.

According to residents, the trailer driver jumped into the vehicle and got out quickly, but there was no fixed load.

According to LAPD, the suspect appears to have lost control, and detectives gathered multiple reports of the incident for AA crash and vehicle theft. The Ministry of Water and Electricity repaired utility poles on Sunday, and residents lost hours of electricity.

“It’s a quiet community where some kids live. Fortunately, when all of this happens, no one goes out.”
