It’s been two months since the whirlwind of the new TGL Indoor Golf League founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. As the playoffs progress, we now know which teams will face off in the TGL finals to determine the first league title of all time. Here’s everything you need to know.
Which teams are there in the TGL finals?
There are six teams in the 2025 TGL season. Each game played five regular season games, earning points through wins and overtime losses to identify four teams that will make the playoffs. The Tiger’s Jupiter Link Golf Club ranked fifth in the regular season and missed the playoffs. McIlroy’s Boston Common Golf Team won the victory and ended up.

The four teams entering the playoffs face to face in two semifinals, all in big trouble. On Monday, March 17, the New York Golf Club shocked the highest-seeded Los Angeles Golf Club 6-4, becoming the first team to qualify for the finals.
Then on Tuesday night, March 18, Atlanta Drive Golf Club, the third seed, made the second seed golf club beat the final 9-3.
When is the TGL final? How do they work?
The semi-finals feature a single knockout round, but the TGL finals will be different. New York Golf Club and Atlanta Golf Club will compete in three best matches to determine the final championship.
The first TGL final will be held on Monday, March 24, ET on ESPN2 and ESPN+. The second final match will be played on ESPN and ESPN+ on Tuesday, March 25 at 7 p.m. ET.
If a team wins both games, they will be declared champions and will not be in the third game. But if New York and Atlanta split the first two games, they will face off in the third and finals immediately after the second game to determine the winner. If this happens, Game 3 will start at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN.
How much will the TGL champion win?
The total wallet for the 2025 TGL season is $21 million. However, that money will not be distributed evenly across all six teams.
Which team stands out by the advantage of the three best final series between New York Golf Club and Atlanta Drive Golf Club, bringing back a $9 million share of winners. This will be distributed among all four players on the winning team, each equivalent to $2.25 million.
Those who lose the final will get second place worth $4.5 million, or $1.1125 billion per player.
