If you are a fresh starter senior disabled person, female player or golfer, you will encounter a lot of fairway Woods. Unlike the Irons, Fairway Woods needs some different keys to perform a proper strike. But players tend to make some mistakes when using the Fairway Forest, said top coach Heather Angell.
“I always tell people not to hit your fairway wood unless you’re on the fairway,” Angel said at the Golf 100 Teacher Summit at Cabot Citrus Farm in Florida. “I have a lot of amateurs out and they’re like, ‘Well, I can’t get to the green. I have to hit the longest club in my schoolbag.” They stood in rough wood, on the fairway, and they pulled up the wood of that fairway, and I thought, what are you doing? ”
According to Angell, just because of the lens you are facing, your fairway wood is able to travel, it doesn’t mean you have Hit it. On the contrary, if the lies are not very good, please don’t spoil yourself, Angel said. Choose Hybrid or Iron, but go back to the fairway and keep going.
Angel also recommends using fairway wood to use center ball position.
“Most people want to put it back in the middle of the stance, like iron, or put it there with the driver. I think the key for amateurs is to make sure they place the ball in front of the center so they can sweep the ideal move on it to make sure you want to hit it and then make sure you can keep you in a good smooth swing.

“Everyone wants to try to kill it,” she continued. “Often, when you hit fairway wood, you can’t get to the green with it. So why sway like you? If your swing feels effortless, you’re smooth.”
