Author: Robert Skuch Published

As a huge fan of horror comedies, I have an insatiable desire to watch every film in the genre, and I’m almost ashamed to admit that I’ve only watched the 2010 film Tucker and Dale fight evil First time last weekend. I’m just a guy with blind spots and side quests, and I must have glanced at this title at least 100 times over the years, but never fully committed to it. I was briefly in mourning because this was such a funny movie that I missed years of laughter. Now that I finally know what it’s all about, it’s definitely a watch of the year for obvious reasons.

Tucker and Dale fight evil What works so well is how silly it is. like cabin in the woodsThere’s just not a secret committee of corporate thugs running the show. Instead, we see a group of college students accidentally and systematically killing themselves, all due to miscommunication. This is exactly the area I love to spend my time, where misunderstandings can snowball into disastrous results.

Why do they always call him Chad? !

Tucker and Dale vs. Evil 2010

Centered on a group of college students led by Chad (Jesse Moss), Tucker and Dale fight evil Start like most slashers. Nine college students want to go camping, and most of them will probably die. After briefly meeting two rednecks named Tucker (Alan Tudyk) and Dale (Tyler Labine) on the way to the lake, the kids are already on high alert, especially Chad, who kicks off the night by telling the story of a hillbilly massacre that happened decades ago while everyone was gathered around a fire.

Tucker and Dale are ultimately harmless, even though they fit the stereotype of the backwoods guys you’d expect to see save. Coincidentally, they were heading to the same area where Chad and his friends were camping, but for a much less sinister reason. They purchased a dilapidated lake house and planned to renovate it. While fishing, Tucker and Dale witness Allison (Katrina Bowden) stripping off her clothes before skinny dipping. Alison was startled, slipped, hit her head, and lost consciousness. Chad and his friends believe Tucker and Dale are kidnapping her and immediately flee the scene, as this is apparently what the best friends are doing, led by a man named Chad.

Allison eventually befriends Dale after realizing how harmless he actually is. He was so terrified of scaring her and causing her to fall that he did everything he could to nurse her back to health at the cabin while Tucker focused on various home projects. Meanwhile, the college students begin planning to ambush Tucker and Dale.

Tucker and Dale vs. Evil 2010

Tucker and Dale fight evil Escalating to the point of absurdity, as everyone in this novel is incredibly stupid, including our protagonist. Alison even told Dale that she wanted to be a psychiatrist because she truly believed that most of the world’s problems stem from miscommunication. She wasn’t wrong. Chad and his friends repeatedly attempt to raid Tucker and Dale’s cabin, only to commit suicide in increasingly bizarre bizarre accidents, and Tucker and Dale begin to believe that the kids are part of some kind of mass suicide pact. To them, this is the only reasonable explanation.

The gags in this movie are so silly that you can’t help but laugh. Tucker accidentally slices open a beehive while wielding a chainsaw, causing him to flail and spin like Leatherface. One of the children panicked and ran away, only to be impaled on a branch. every death Tucker and Dale fight evil Following the same logic, they only get more ridiculous as the body count rises. Tucker and Dale weren’t directly responsible for these deaths in the traditional sense, so they just got on with doing their thing because, at the end of the day, they really didn’t do anything wrong.

Tucker and Dale vs. Evil 2010

Tucker and Dale fight evil This is not a movie that requires much mental effort to enjoy. Its premise is inherently ridiculous, and all of its entertainment value comes from a series of escalating miscommunications that culminate in an absolute carnage. If you’re looking for a horror movie where the so-called villain is actually the nicest person you’ve ever met, you can watch it Tucker and Dale fight evil As of this writing, on Hulu.
