The White House Shares Star Wars Day’s Trump Meme – Unrealized He’s Become a Sith Lord

The day after sharing a widely condemned photo of Donald Trump as the pope’s AI-generated photo, the White House returned to X on Saturday with another Trump meme, this time in the president’s style, as his social media team seemed to think it was a strong, patriotic Jedi, despite the fact that the president held the red lightsaber.

“The happy ones may be everyone, including the radical left LUNATICS, who struggled hard to bring Lord Sith, murderer, drug lord, dangerous prisoners and well-known MS-13 gang members into our galaxy,” the White House wrote. “You are not rebels-you are the empire. May the fourth person be with you.”

Although it can be extrapolated from the title that the White House intends to show Trump as a Jedi, the image specifically shows that he holds the red lightsaber-the sign of the Sith, the dark side. Based on this detail, it is unclear whether the White House intends to celebrate “Sis Lord, murderer, drug owner, dangerous prisoners and well-known members of the MS-13 gang” or condemn them.

The image also includes Trump wearing a Jedi robe and sporting oversized muscles, as well as a background that includes two vultures and the American flag.

Trump is not a Catholic and has received widespread criticism after the president first shared his photos as the pope and official White House accounts. “There is nothing clever or interesting about this image,” the New York State Catholic Conference wrote on X.

“We just buried our beloved Pope Francis, and the Cardinal is about to enter a solemn meeting to elect St. Peter’s new successor. Don’t laugh at us.”

Pope Francis died on April 21. Trump later received criticism for saying he was expecting a funeral and wearing a blue suit instead of black.
