Thousands of protests against the Israeli government in Jerusalem
Thousands of Israeli people once again took to the streets of Jerusalem to protest the revival of the Gaza war and planned to fire Israel’s Shenyou domestic security department.
Media reports said that, like the demonstrations on Wednesday night, the signs of a violent clash between police and protesters, including the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Media reports said several protesters criticized the government for trying to break police barricades in front of Netanyahu’s home, and security forces violently stopped them and fired water cannons.
According to the Harlez newspaper, several protesters were injured.
Israeli media reported that an opposition politician, Yair Golan, was pushed to the ground by police. Golan wrote on X that he is fine and he will continue to fight the government.
Netanyahu reportedly hopes to be approved by the government-approved lawyer Ronen Bar on Thursday night.
Netanyahu’s policies have been criticized in the Shin Bet investigation, amid the mistake that became the Hamas massacre on October 7, 2023.
Shin Bet is also investigating alleged illegal relations between his colleagues in Netanyahu and the Emirate of Qatar.
