Tina Knowles sent Beyonce and Solange to treatment as a kid

Beyoncé and Solange Knowles Have their mother, Tina Knowlesthank them partly for their close contact.
Tina, 71, publicly raised her famous daughter in an interview Sara Sidner Friday, April 25, CNN News Center. When asked how she managed to make her two daughters “feel special”, Tina shared: “I think one of those things is that you see them as individuals because they are very, very different. [Solange] Very, very different. ”
Tina recalls how the sibling relationship would develop when Beyoncé, 43, started performing around 10 years old. “And then I started to notice that Beyoncé would have them talking to her like that, or she would say, ‘Okay, mom, can you bring Solange out of here? Because she was doing…’I thought, ‘Wait, wait, wait, this is her house and you have to be nice to her.”
Tina noted that she “sees a wall between them” and decided to put Beyoncé and Solange together to treat it, which made others displeased. “My family is like, ‘You’re going to drive those girls crazy.’ Because, you know, especially the black community at that time. [people didn’t go to therapy]. At that time, it was really taboo,” she said. “Even mine [ex-]husband [Mathew Knowles]he was like, “I just don’t know if they were too small to do that.” I thought, ‘I’m not asking. I’m going to find someone. ‘”
Tina said that even though Beyoncé “has hated therapy,” she found a “stellar” therapist, and her girls responded to it. But Solange “loved” the experience. “She loves to talk, you know yourself,” Tina said of her youngest child. “It turned out great. It’s really great because they’ve become very nervous since then.”
Sidner, 52, said Tina introduced her therapy to the girls “such a beautiful gift”, especially now that Beyoncé and Solange are “apparently tight.” Tina agreed, adding: “Yes, they’re very tight.”

During the intense exchange, Solange was hit and kicked her brother-in-law when he saw Beyoncé standing aside.
“Jay and Solange are responsible for what happened,” the trio said in a May 2014 statement. “Both of them acknowledge their role in private affairs that play a role in the public. They both apologize to each other and we move forward as a united family.”
Solange and 55-year-old Jay-Z have since made changes, and Jay-Z said they were “cool” in an interview in August 2017 Rap radar. “She’s like my sister. I’ll protect her,” he said at the time. “That’s my sister, not my sister. My sister. Period.”
Meanwhile, Beyoncé and Solange continue to support each other’s careers, with Solange famously joining his sister in the historic Coachella headlines show in 2018.
