Police are investigating the death of a toddler who found the body in a panoramic city parking lot Saturday morning.
The unidentified boy, believed to be between 3 and 4 years old, was found near a trash can in a commercial parking lot 8200 Van Nuys Boulevard neighborhood Near Titus Street. Los Angeles Police Department missionary officials arrived at the scene around 7 a.m.
LAPD said in a statement that personnel from the Los Angeles Fire Department had tried but were unable to recover the child and declared him dead. Detectives in the abused child department are dealing with ongoing investigations.
