When we head to March, spring fever

Wow! Finally, it felt good outside again. Today is the warmest day in three weeks, and it’s just the beginning.

Apart from the remaining snow piles, most of the snow melted (they will be there for at least a week). The southwest winds on the weekend blew the Arctic air and continued to blow in the mild air in February. This may give you a spring feel.

For Tuesday tonight, most clear skies and quiet weather will be found. Temperatures will remain above freezing tonight and will run at 70° on Tuesday afternoon. In fact, it is expected to be the high point of the West Plains Line south of the 1970s.

On Wednesday morning, as a cold front passes through the area around noon, the sky will become cloudy. There is a chance of scattered rain showers in the front, but don’t expect long-term wet conditions. There will be no rain in some areas. Temperatures will cool about 5 to 10°, but will still be above normal in late February.

The cold front will be on the weak side and will not bring us back to the feeling of winter. The temperatures will remain good Thursday and look like a nice and breeze day. On Friday, we will further increase wind and temperatures, with some areas running at 70°.

This weekend looks beautiful! Another weak front passed Saturday, with temperatures still above normal levels until the weekend.

A pair of systems will restore the rain chance to the area again on Sunday night and next Tuesday Monday night. Looking for the cold weather for Tuesday’s storm.
