Donald Trump, whose second term is only 100 days, has suggested he want another job.
The non-Catholic president provided a completely characterful response after a reporter asked Trump that he thought he should follow Pope Francis for the next pope.
“I want to be a pope,” Trump joked. “That would be my first choice.”
Then, Trump proposed a less narcissistic option.
“I have no preference. I might say we have a cardinal that happens to be a place called New York, which is very good.”

Although the president does seem to be joking, he seems to be serious about his suggestion of another norm – such as turning Canada into the 51st state or taking over Greenland – does not explicitly exclude running for a third term.
Not surprisingly, many people pray that “Pope Donald” will never happen.
