Twelve people killed in Russian missile strike in Kryvyi rih in Ukraine
Authorities said at least 12 people were killed in the Russian Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih on Friday and more than 50 were injured.
Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city’s military administration, said the ballistic missiles damaged the multi-storey apartment building and burned down cars and garages.
Kryvyi Rih, the hometown of President Volodymyr Zelensky, is located about 70 kilometers on the front line.
Ukraine has defended Russia’s full invasion for more than three years.
Rescuers from the state emergency services put out the fire in residential buildings as a result of a drone strike in Russia. – /ukrinform/dpa
