City police and fire officials said two Los Angeles Police Department officers were taken to the hospital in Van Nuis on Saturday afternoon.
According to a police spokesman, there are few details about what happened except what happened in McDonald’s parking lot in McDonald’s in the 7000 block of McDonald’s parking lot (4:12 pm). A fire spokesman said Los Angeles Fire Department ambulance was called to the scene to transport officials to the hospital.
Neither department had any information on the officer’s condition, but by Saturday night, police said the situation was no longer urgent and the site did not require further assistance.
CBS News Los Angeles reported that a minivan surrounded by crime scene tape was seen in a parking lot and a person nearby appeared to be handcuffed on a LAPD patrol vehicle.
