MacFolly Hospitality announces new 100-room patio for Marriott Nigeria

MacFolly Hospitality, a subsidiary of Sifax Group, will launch a new 100-room patio at the Marriott Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria.

Located in Gra Ikeja, the property will be adjacent to the existing Marriott Hotel in Lagos, further cementing MacFolly Hospitality’s goal to achieve the local hospitality industry.

The hotel is planned to be completed within two years and aims to provide expanded meeting space, amenities and amenities for local and international guests.

Sifax Group Chairman Taiwan Afolabi, his wife Folashade Afolabi, and Marriott International, Vice President of Africa in Sub-Saharan Africa, attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

During the event, Afolabi highlighted the growing demand for premium hospitality experiences in Lagos, which is the driving force behind the new development.

He said: “About four years ago we launched the Lagos Marriott Hotel next door and the experience was very fun thanks to the world-class accommodation, dining and event experiences we provide our clients.

“We not only meet but exceed our expectations of patronage, and this demand has been growing. This new hotel will further validate our firm commitment to providing premium hotel services in Lagos when it is on the stream.”
