Oil tankers and cargo ships collided in the North Sea

The British Coast Guard said an oil tanker and a cargo ship collided on the eastern coast of England on Monday and major rescue operations are underway.

Several lifeboats and a Coast Guard rescue helicopter were sent to the scene in the North Sea, as well as a Coast Guard and nearby fire-capable ships.

BBC News reported that the tanker caught fire. According to the discoverers of the ship tracking the on-site ship, the tanker is believed to be the US-flag chemical and oil product, Stena Immaculate, at the time, at the anchor point.
