Elon Musk’s social media platform X experienced several power outages earlier on Monday.
Complaints about the power outage soared at 6 a.m. Monday, again at 10 a.m. ET, more than 40,000 users reported not being able to access the platform, according to Tracking website DownDetector.com.
The interruption report once again soared around noon and the latest report appears to be in progress. On the US coast, interruptions seem to be the heaviest.
DownDetector.com says the X app reported 56% of the issues, while the site reported 33%.
X did not immediately respond to the Associated Press’s request for comment.
In March 2023, as the link stopped working, the social media platform then known as Twitter went through more than an hour, with some users unable to log in and the images not loading for others.
