Wang & Lee Group announced that it has obtained a contract from NQ Marble Pty Ltd, a Queensland-based marble quarry, dedicated to (i) exploration and quarry of natural marble, and (ii) the design and implementation of Solar Powterpoto farms at several locations in Queensland, Australia. NQ Marble has paid a non-refundable deposit of $1 million WLGS. This groundbreaking plan will optimize 25.42 km of land by combining marble production with renewable energy generation, leveraging Queensland’s world-class solar resources and accelerating Australia’s transition to sustainable industrial practices. This pioneering project utilizes underutilized solar energy resources in Australia, utilizing areas such as Japan (3.5-4.0 kWh/m/day) and Germany (2.8-3.2 kWh/m/day) with an average annual solar irradiance of 5.5-6.0 kWh/m/m/day-evenenced.
