The Florida Panthers have agreed to move forward JessePuljujärvi On two-way contracts for the rest of the 2024-25 season.

Puljujärvi joined Florida’s AHL branch, Charlotte pawns, on February 10 and recorded three assists in seven games against the Checkers. He also recorded one goal and two assists in four games with the Wilkes Barry/Scranton Penguins earlier this season.

The 26-year-old is from Sweden, which started with the Pittsburgh Penguins, scoring three goals and six assists in 26 NHL games.

Puljujärvi was Edmonton’s first-round pick (fourth pick) in the 2016 NHL Draft and participated in 382 professional games in the NHL with the Oilers, Hurricanes and Penguins, with a total of 57 goals and 70 assists for 127 points.

In 77 professional AHL games against Charlotte, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Bakersfield, Puljujärvi registered 20 goals and 32 assists in 52 points.
