Watch NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang delivers a keynote speech today

Computex 2025 is about to begin, and announcements about the latest chips, laptops, gaming equipment, and more Cavalry has begun. The event in Taiwan will be held on Sunday evening (US time) with a keynote speech by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang’s Taipei Music Center. There will be a live stream for anyone who doesn’t attend in person, so you can watch it here (see the NVIDIA YouTube stream embedded below).
Huang’s keynote speech is scheduled for May 18 at 11pm/8pm (May 19 at 11 a.m. in Taiwan Times), we can expect to hear all about the company’s development in the AI field. On the same day, Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon’s keynote speech will be followed. Computex may not be surprising this year, focusing on AI, with the overall theme being “next step”. It will also emphasize products in three categories: AI & Robotics, next-generation technologies and future mobility.
For Huang, the Computex keynote was a homecoming: He was born in Taiwan and eventually immigrated to the United States, where he helped co-found Nvidia and directed it to the current domination in the AI space. His appearance also tied up a busy week, allowing him to balance the increasingly challenging diplomatic aspects of the AI landscape. After participating in a deal between President Trump’s visit to the Middle East countries (Nvidia’s tech companies with ties to Saudi Arabia and the UAE during this period, Nvidia downplayed its expansion plans reported in China.
An estimated 1,400 exhibitors will attend Computex, including Asus, Acer and AMD, all of which have previously made numerous announcements at the annual fair. In fact, as of Friday (May 16), Acer has made some announcements to the show, including a new Swift Edge AI laptop and five gaming monitors. Our senior reviewer Sam Rutherford also managed to get the new Acer Predator Triton 14 AI, which he loved so much, he called it his new “most anticipated gaming laptop of the year.”
Computex 2025 will run from May 20 to May 23, and we expect more PC news in the coming days.
