Weapons have been turned into weapons by the studio

I recently wrote an article about box office success arms And pray that the studio won’t jump right away into the expected model that turns it into another intellectual property (the IP of all those who like to announce urination). I know I am a naive fool and hope it will be far away. This is one of the conditions for becoming desperate romanticism through film and film culture.
So I was disappointed but sigh of expectation that I’ve reported it’s a prequel arms Discussions were held at Warner Bros., as well as other potential continuations of the film.
Oh boy, we’re here again.
Filmmakers rather than follow up

About one of the most refreshing things arms Responded to the earlier Warner Bros. release this year: sinner. These are two original horror movies that have a budget of more than their visionary director genre. Not only sold on related films from the past, but people are sold on “Ryan Coogler Movies” and “Zach Cregger Movies”. It’s really exciting, like we see how Jordan Peele sells, as this state allows Peele to continue making original genre projects with huge creative control.
This is what the audience really desires. Even Josh Brolin was zeroing in on this side when he recently swung on streaming. Audiences are eager to push new creators to a new generation of filmmaking sounds. Viewers are more excited about the prospects for the next Quentin Tarantino than the next intellectual property product. Mass market production landscapes are more dangerous than ever, and audiences want to ensure there is a unique human voice behind the art of their decision to spend time with them.
Instead of putting the weight after follow-up arms or sinnerWarner Bros. should put the weight next for Zach Cregger and Ryan Coogler. If they have a real creative spark for some sort of sequel/prequel/splitting product, then maybe it’s worth chasing. But Kugler publicly said he thinks sinner As a strange experience, I’m willing to bet Cregger feels the same way arms.
No more prequels

Worst of all, the current Scuttlebutt is arms The prequel is on the table. I won’t spoil anything from this movie, but it’s obvious where the prequel will bring. If there is one thing arms It was done well, and it didn’t go the obvious story path.
I’m not saying the prequel doesn’t work properly – Best call Saul are masterpieces of victory with its predecessors, but they are often the least interesting avenues in the world. Taking into account the only aspect arms This will be influenced by the prequel and will eventually only act as a wiki feed, rather than a truly compelling reason to tell a new story.
But in fact, the key is because arms It should be an independent story. Hopefully things crash in development like many movies, we don’t have to start worrying about WCU’s Canon, arms The movie universe.
