Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have just met in the U.S. Open final, their third straight clash in a big championship game. When can the top two players in the PIF ATP rankings start to move again?
Alcaraz will return to the game this next weekend in San Francisco, where he will be in the second game. Last year, Espanyol helped the European team to win glory against Ben Shelton and Taylor Fritz.
The New World No. 1 will then be held in the Kinoshita Group Japan Open Tennis Championships in the following week, the ATP 500 event held in Tokyo. Alcaraz will make his debut in the competition.
The same week, Sinner planned to compete at the China Open of the ATP 500 event in Beijing. The Italian won the championship in 2023 and reached last year’s final.
Both men will then again get the same draw in the Rolex Shanghai Masters of the ATP Masters in the penultimate season.
Alcaraz was under control in the battle against Sinner’s ATP No. 1 in the year-end battle. The Spaniard is in pole position and can win honors for the second time (also in 2022).
