Wu Ashun rally with 5 birdies in the bottom 9, winning the China Open

Shanghai – Wu Ashun charged the last nine charges with 65 and 6 in the back nine on Sunday, allowing him to overcome the four-inning deficit and win China for the second time.
The victory came 10 years after Wu, 39, won the China Open for the first time. This is his fifth professional victory on the European Tour.
Spain’s Li Haotong and Eugenio Chacarra started the final round and led the Anchance Anting Golf Club, each golf club ending with a 1-1-point shooting percentage.
Wu was three shots behind when it was Chacarra’s turn, and he quickly reached out to run three birdies on four holes. The Spaniard played behind him, had 3 bogeys on the back nine holes, and then fell down.
Wu finished under 14 and beat England’s Jordan Smith with one shot, birding his last hole with a 67-shot bird.
The European tour was in China for a week and was the Hainan Classics.
