Fyre Festival is becoming a music streaming service, maybe not a scam this time

Fyre Festival Saga will receive an unexpected new chapter. Shawn Rech co-founded the Crime and Investigative Content Network of Trublu Streaming Network, and he plans to use the name of Fyre Festival to make the new music streaming platform. He obtained a selected intellectual property trademark for the music event, and his co-founder Billy McFarland. However, the REC will not play a role in the hypothetical live events of the Fyre Festival. According to him, he was just trying to use the name to get familiarity with his project.

“It has nothing to do with music,” Rech told Deadline In a surprisingly candid statement. “I need a big name that people will remember, even if it’s notorious, so that’s why I bought these [trademarks] Start streaming the network. ”

Deadline Fyre Music Streaming will have a subscription video on-demand platform and free ad-supported TV channels, the report said. RECH claims it will be launched on Thanksgiving. “We are building something real and lasting,” he said.

Using ridiculous festival fraud names and hoping people provide you with money, it takes a lot of arrogance. But considering that Rech does manage to make Trublu stand out, maybe his music platform will actually exist. However, if the second Fair Festival has become any sign of what is coming, it would be a fun exercise for Schadenfreude.
