Japan fights forest fires that force hundreds of people to evacuate

Japan has deployed more than 2,000 soldiers and firefighters from all over the country to fight forest fires in coastal cities of the northeast that damaged dozens of homes and forced the evacuation of more than 1,200 people. According to the Fire Disaster Management Agency, the fire has burned about 2,100 hectares of forest since its start on Wednesday.
