Lydia Ko moves 1 pole behind Lim Kim in LPGA Singapore

Singapore – Olympic gold medalist and LPGA Hall of Fame member Lydia Ko won the game with a 67 shot after two rounds of the HSBC Women’s World Championship.
The Korean-born New Zealander was on the Tanjong course of Sentosa Golf Club, with a total of 138 shots and 6 points below 6 points. First round leader Lin Jin held the lead after 69 holes on Friday.
The steady KO hit 11 of 14 fairways in her bogey-free round, and 16 of 17 greens. Last year, the 27-year-old KO became the youngest player to enter the LPGA Hall of Fame when she won the gold medal in Paris.
“I think I’m usually not doing well on this golf course, and I think this year will be a good year,” Ko said. “The scores in the past few days have not been that low. I just want to focus on me and hope to just keep climbing the rankings.”
Charley Hull (70) of England tied for third with Hyo Joo Kim (66) to lead two times.
Defending champion Hannah Green had 69 games on Friday, both at 144, balanced with Angel Yin, who won the LPGA Thailand event last week with a shooting percentage of 68.
Nine of the top ten players in the Singapore field (13 of the top 15) minus only the ranking Nelly Korda and Rose Zhang.
The final match of the three Asian swings of LPGA will be held next week on Hainan Island, China.
